• City Peten is the operator of two Oil and Gas Exploration and Exploitation Contracts assigned by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM), in representation of the State of Guatemala.
• Contract 1- 2006 was assigned in the year 2008 and is about to enter into the Development Phase after the Discovery of the First Natural Gas and Condensate Field in Guatemala and Central America.
• Contract 1-2011 was assigned in the year 2013 and is currently in the Initial Exploration Phase.
